Jordan Byers grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina and graduated from Mooresville High School. Jordan continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. At the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jordan was a Peer Tutor for the University Center for Academic Excellence, President of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and an At-Large Senator for the Student Government Association.

After graduating summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Jordan attended the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law as a non-resident scholar. While in law school, Jordan was the Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Education. Jordan was also a Student Attorney for the Carolina Health Advocacy Medicolegal Partnership (CHAMPS) Clinic where she engaged in interdisciplinary learning and took legal cases on behalf of low-income children and families referred from Prisma Health. She additionally served on the USC Law Pro Bono Executive Board. Jordan was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, Children’s Advocacy Law Society, Family Law Society, and Women in Law. After graduating from USC Law and passing the bar, Jordan moved back to North Carolina to start her career in family law.

In Jordan’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her three pups, and reading thrillers.
