So the simple answer to that question is regardless of whether or not you are innocent or guilty of a criminal offense you need an attorney.

Logic would say that if you are indeed innocent of a criminal offense you probably need an attorney that much more. Because, a real failing of the justice system is when an actual innocent person gets punished for something that they didn’t do.
