Whether or not to plead guilty to a charge is something that should be thought over after consultation with an attorney.

In the state of North Carolina when you are charged with a criminal offense often times gives plea deals. And with those plea deals you enter into an agreement to plead guilty in return for other charges being dismissed, in return for an agreement for a certain position in the case or a certain judgment in the case, or a certain sentence.

So whether or not you plead guilty to a criminal offense depends on the facts of the case, depends on what’s in your best interest, depends on what sort of offer your are being made.

Those are all things that should be carefully considered after consultation with an attorney.
